Security almost doesn't exist on the Internet by Zivka Deleva

Hackers from Europe have gathered in the Hungarian metropolis Budapest, on a two day conference discussing the increasingly sophisticated computer piracy. About five hundred computer experts came to Budapest and participated on the conference. About 30 different presentations of different researches have been presented, accenting the topics of the database protection by few software types. The truth is that such gatherings are very important, because they express how much computers and especially Internet has entered our everyday lives, how it influences on young people especially, in their social life and the more important in their development as persons. As US cyber sec! urity expert Bruce Schneier said “the Internet is the greatest generation gap since rock ’n’ roll””. I think this is one of the best definitions that have ever been thought of. "The older of us need to be prepared for a younger generation that lives life on the Internet, doesn't understand where their computer or smartphone ends and the Internet begins, shares passwords with their friends as a sign of trust and deliberately lies when registering for services" - Schneier pointed. Everybody agreed that security on the net is something like utopia today. The hackers’ abilities become more and more sophisticated, so now you just shouldn’t trust only to those security terms. Experts feared as well that the globally popular smartphones like iPhone and BlackBerry are very easily to be pirated with some programs or a type of a computer. There were also some practical demonstrations of what hackers can do.
