Apple apparently did not expect such high demand demand for its latest gadget iPad and therefore the company was forced to postpone the international launch of the tablet. It simply cannot make them fast enough. Currently, the tablet is available only in the United States. It seems some people saw a chance right there and so fake versions of iPad appeared in China ahead of its official launch. Well, China has quite a reputation as a fake goods manufacturer. “China is basically a market that has the ability to clone everything,” said Beijing-based researcher Edward Yu, CEO of Analysis International. Just look around you, you surely has something like that in you! r home. The fake iPad looks like he real one, least at first sight. It runs a version of Windows 7, you can guess whether it is the pirate copy or the original Microsoft product. The bootleg device was found in the city of Shenzhen, just north of Hong Kong, which is very well known for this kind of products. So now, alongside iPhones, game consoles and others electronic gadgets, appeared also iPad. The Chinese iPad is sold for about 2,800 yuan, which is $410 dollars. It is about $90 dollars cheaper than the real iPad. No doubt that in the future Chinese pirates will come up with even more realistic creations, that is when they will have the original iPad at their disposal to copy all the possible details. "This is just the first rough version," said one of the shopkeepers in Shenzhen. "While the shape isn't quite the same, the external appearance is very similar to the iPad, so we don't think it will affect our sales that much." Chinese bootleg market is simply taking adva! ntage of the excitement of the first weeks that iPad is out, b! ecause t he situation will not last long.

Apple zjavne nebol pripravený na taký obrovský záujem o svoj najnovší produkt iPad. Spoločnosť bola nútená odložiť medzinárodné uvedenie tabletu na trh, pretože ho jednoducho nestíha vyrábať. V súčasnosti je tablet dostupný len v Spojených štátoch. Zdá sa, že niektorí ľudia vo vysokom dopyte po tablete videli svoju šancu a tak sa na čínskom trhu objavili falošné verzie iPad-u ešte pre oficiálnym uvedením toho pôvodného. Každopádne, čo sa týka falošných v! 53;robkov všetkých druhov Čína má vo svete poriadnu reputáciu. „Čína, to je trh so schopnosťou napodobniť v podstate všetko,“ hovorí Edward Yu zo spoločnosti Analysis International. Niet pochýb o tom, že v blízkej budúcnosti prídu čínski falšovatelia s ešte realistickejšími výtvormi, teda keď už budú mať k dispozícii originál a budú ho môcť podrobne preskúmať. „Toto je len prvý pokus,“ hovorí jeden z predajcov v Šen-čene. „Hoci tvar nie je úplne rovnaký, vonkajší vzhľad je veľmi podobný originálnemu iPad-u, takže si nemyslíme, že to veľmi ovplyvní naše tržby.“ Čínsky falšovateľský trh jednoducho využíva vo svoj prospech počiatočné nadšenie z iPad a vysoký dopyt po ňom, pretože takáto situácia nebude trvať dlho.
